Urgent Care
If your pet is sick or has an unexpected medical concern during our regular business hours, call us right away. We welcome both existing clients and pets who are new to our hospital. When appropriate, we'll schedule a same-day drop-off appointment so our medical team can examine and treat your pet throughout the day.
How It Works

- Our team will determine whether your pet is a candidate for same-day care.
- Drop your pet off at your scheduled time.
- Our veterinarian will examine your pet and contact you with their findings and treatment recommendations.
- Pick your pet up once treatment is complete.

What Constitutes a Pet Emergency?
If you observe any of the following symptoms, your pet may require immediate medical attention. Please call us at 908-852-7800 or one of the hospitals listed above right away.
- Fractured bones or inability to move legs
- Clear signs of pain or extreme anxiety
- Ingestion of a poisonous substance
- Severe bleeding or bleeding that lasts longer than five minutes
- Seizures or staggering
- Injury of the eye
- Choking or difficulty breathing
- Unconsciousness
- Heatstroke or heat stress
- Severe vomiting or diarrhea
- Inability to urinate or blood in the urine
- Or anything else that concerns you and warrants immediate attention
