Supporting Pets Through Pain and Recovery

Laser Therapy
Cold laser therapy is a painless, non-invasive procedure that uses light to stimulate the body’s natural healing response. The laser, simply a beam of light traveling at a specific frequency, triggers cell regeneration and increased blood circulation, helping the body heal itself naturally.
Laser therapy is used to treat injuries, arthritis, back and hip pain, and ligament and tendon problems. It can also be used after surgery to regenerate nerve tissue and accelerate your pet’s recovery. Just a few treatments can greatly improve a sick or recovering pet’s quality of life. If you think your pet could benefit from laser therapy, talk to your veterinarian.

Intravenous (IV) Fluid Therapy
Fluid therapy is used to treat sick pets who become dehydrated. Dehydration decreases circulation to the liver and the kidney, with debilitating effects. Dehydrated pets feel uncomfortable, cannot fight their disease well, have less motivation to eat, and cannot metabolize drugs efficiently.
In order to ensure medication enters the venous system and is distributed to the whole body, we administer medicine to sick pets through an IV catheter. Medication given this way is more controllable and acts faster – in some cases, it can be life saving. Our veterinarians are highly experienced in administering IV catheter and will monitor your pet closely to ensure they receive the proper amount of fluids.
Pain Management
At Tranquility Veterinary Clinic, we understand how important it is to keep your pet comfortable and pain-free. Whether your pet is recovering from surgery, dealing with arthritis, or managing a long-term condition, we offer gentle and effective ways to help them feel better.
Our pain management plans are tailored to your pet’s needs and may include medications, physical therapy, joint injections, and lifestyle changes to reduce stress on the body. We also offer alternative therapies like acupuncture and laser therapy, which can help improve circulation, ease discomfort, and support natural healing.
Joint injections are often used for pets with stiff or painful joints. These treatments deliver relief directly where it’s needed, helping your pet move more easily and comfortably.
If your pet seems to be in pain or is slowing down, talk to our team. With the right care, many pets experience a noticeable boost in energy, comfort, and quality of life.
